It can be said that this Full Moon, since it opposes the Galactic Center, will also be reflecting the GC. The GC is a huge black hole at the center of our galaxy.
The ancient Mayans called it the Ek’ Waynal. It was the place the shamans went to in visions; the place the dead returned to; and the place we all go to in dreams. Thus it is a place of birth, death, and rebirth. The end of the Mayan calendar last year was an alignment between the Solstice Sun and the Ek’ Waynal. By the way….since it is such a huge space, the actual alignment lasts about 30 years, so…we are still aligned with it for the next 3 years or so.
The Galactic Center in your chart represents that which you feel compelled to do; that which you cannot help but do. It represents the strongest force in your chart. I believe it remains hidden. A hidden gift, talent, destiny that guides you along, but will not speak until spoken to. Like a beautiful woman in a harem, it remains veiled until the right time and place.
Scientists have recently realized the GC emits a type of energy heretofore unknown. They can measure it, but they don’t know what it is or does.
Besides the Full Moon, there are many important transits right now. I would like to comment on Uranus going direct on the same day as this Full Moon. Uranus represents change with a capital C. The Mountain Astrologer Dec/Jan issue article on this Full Moon ends with this quote from John Lilly: “Our only security is our ability to change.”
Uranus, the God of Chaos, represents freedom, change and the willingness to step outside the boundaries. In Aries, we get the courage to do it.
I propose that as you gaze at the Full Moon this time, dream your highest dream. See the light of the reflected Galactic Center, feel the ‘unknown’ energy giving you the 'oomph' you need to spring forward in your evolutionary process. Unveil your heart’s desire, your hidden treasure.
There is nothing to lose that you will not lose eventually anyway.
