Creativity is one of the buzz words of Leo. For many that takes the form of children…created from your love with another being. But there are many other kinds of creativity including how you approach your day. You don’t have to a Picasso or Mozart to bring creativity into your life. The way you do the things you do are always unique to you.
If you know a bit about astrology and what signs your friends and family are, you might have observed that the Leos like to be the center of attention whereas the Aquarians are often found on the edge of the group “holding up the corners”. They like to be in groups, but often prefer to be invisible in the group while the Leo stands at the center holding forth. Both are necessary. There has to be both a center and an outer edge to a circle.
Jupiter is also in Leo at this time adding to the expansive nature of this Full Moon. There might be a tendency to overdo things a little the day before, day of and day after this lunation. Just pay attention.
With all the planets in Pisces right now: Venus, Mars, Neptune and Chiron, people don’t seem to be paying attention. In addition, this Full Moon is within a few degrees of an exact opposition to Mercury retrograde which just adds to the distraction. Everyone seems spaced out. I find it difficult to drive around in parking lots. I have to be extra careful not to hit people or cars. (I too am feeling a little spaced out).
The other night at Songbird Healing Center where I was one of the practitioners at the healing clinic, I just could not focus on my clients and their readings. It was all I could do to put thoughts together and then try to express them. I knew what it was, but was still struggling to use verbal language. I decided that from then on, I would change my offering to something that did not rely so heavily on words.
Be willing to change your ‘plan’, be flexible, hit the reset button. If something is not working, change it if you can. Or, if you cannot, change your attitude towards it.
Yesterday I listened to a talk by Steven Forrest on Saturn in Sagittarius. After a general statement, he went into the transit through each house. One general thing he said that stuck with me and will be my mantra for the coming time period is…(I paraphrase)
When it comes to the work Saturn demands either you get exhausted doing it or depressed by not doing it. As my mother would say “pick your poison.” He also said that when we do the Saturn work it is good to keep in mind the kind of old person we want to become. In a sense, like Carlos Castaneda said “let death be your advisor.” Will you be satisfied by what you accomplished, the choices you made or didn’t make? Only you know the answer.
We are in a period of ‘reset’. So many things are up in the air, changing whether we like it or not. The best we can do is set intentions, work towards their manifestation, then let it all go.
