Here  we are approaching the Spring Equinox 2023 already.  Does anyone else feel like time is speeding up?  I don’t know about you, but my New Year’s resolutions have come and gone and nearly been forgotten.
They were enacted exactly one week.  Week two I had excuses.  Week three more excuses.  By week four nearly forgotten.  Luckily. I had a reminder from spirit that I had strayed from my goals.  Spirit spoke loudly and said: “Not that…  This”.
With Venus conjunct Jupiter visible in the western sky here in Northern California, I chose to seek the higher ground when dealing with current events in my life.  Endings and disappointments can be indicators of things that need to change and opportunities to move in new directions.
This reminds me of what I’m hearing people say now that Kohl did 19 to suppose that recalled or.  So many people want to go back to the way things were before.  Things were actually not working very well before so why would we want to go back to the?  Anyway, things will never be the way they were before.  So called normal was not that great for many people in the world.
To me, Covid 19, the lockdown and the issues with the supply chain (lack of toilet paper) was a dry run for what we will be encountering in the near future due to climate change.
We were given a chance to find out who we really are inside without the outer forms we often identify with such as our job, our social life etc.  We were forced to rely on our inner resources.  I think many people suffered because they found out there was nothing inside.  There was no one home. Their whole life was an external shell that could easily be cracked and destroyed.
People with a spiritual life barely suffered at all. True they may have missed their social connections, but they had already developed the resilience we all will need in the future. That was one of the gifts of Covid 19. Others include: patience, cooperation, and compassion. I noticed people were observing ‘social distancing’ even while driving.
Now as an elder, I can say that of all the subjects I have studied and all the paths I have followed, Astrology has proven itself to be the most valuable. Not only has it led to greater self-knowledge, but it has helped me understand and accept people. It has at times been a healing tool for myself and others.
With Pluto going into Aquarius on March 23, around the time of the Spring Equinox, we could be entering the “Age of Aquarius” that we sang about over 50 years ago. Many of us who were there are still here. Astrology had a huge resurgence then and its important has only grown.
