The Full Moon also forms a T square with transiting Jupiter in Leo.
The Sun in Taurus, an earth sign which loves stability and security, has witnessed some incredibly transformational (Scorpio) energy this past week with the earthquake in Nepal and the intense rainfall in Chile resulting in horrific flooding.
Our world is not only being rocked by ‘natural’ disasters, but also by social unrest due to continued police brutality. It’s as if the status quo is so threatened by change that it is losing control over itself, over-reacting and breaking its own laws and codes. The police are charged with the mission to protect and serve and yet they are the source of the mayhem that is occurring.
There has to be a balance between stability and change. Too much of either is deadly. Where can we find the element needed to achieve this balance? Jupiter in Leo squaring this Full Moon can represent, among other things, abundance of love – love of self and others. Self-love has to come first, however.
I believe that the micro reflects the macro and that things that I am experiencing personally, may mirror or reflect what you are experiencing. With my Moon in Pisces in the 7th house, I truly feel that at some level ‘we are all one’ that’s why I often write about myself. This is my blog after all and you are free to read it or not.
I have experienced some life-changing events in the past week. I was precipitously removed from my membership in a ‘community healing center’ where I volunteer several times a month and pay to use the facilities. It is supposed to be a ‘community’, but free speech is unwelcome. I knew, however, that when one door closes, another opens, so I trusted Source to open my next opportunity which came yesterday when my jewelry was accepted at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts and will be for sale in their gift shop http://sebarts.org/. I am thrilled about this since my goal for my jewelry is to be at art galleries and museum shops as well as other venues.
In addition, I have experienced an expansion (Jupiter in Leo currently in my 12th house conjunct my natal Pluto within 1 degree) in my spiritual healing work. I felt called to attend a workshop with Patricia Walsh in early March on ancestral healing (http://healthepast.com/) and have begun to offer sessions using these methods. It seems I have a talent for this type of work (South Node in Scorpio, Neptune in the Second house) and it took a long time to discover it. In the spirit of ‘you can’t make this shxt up’ one of the ‘mottos’ of DMP work, my Chiron is conjunct my SN another indicator that the wound is connected to the gift. ‘Fired’ from a so-called healing center for speaking, my voice now facilitates healing the past. Perfect!
Ancestral healing is based on a concept that when healing an ancestor occurs, it moves forward and backwards in time and thus has ramifications in our current life. This work must be done in person, so I am only able to offer it locally. See my services offered page for more information or to schedule a session. http://www.wayfinderastrology.com/services-offered.html
On another personal note, this Full Moon in Scorpio is conjunct my South Node in the third house within 1 degree and so I feel a vindication of my voice which the ancestors appreciate, but the living sometimes do not. I am willing to work in the realm of the spirits using my voice to precipitate transformation, to heal and to serve the voiceless. I have been working to heal my South Node issues for decades and now that I have accepted the Call to work with the ancestors, I feel myself moving forward at an accelerated rate. This is completely in line with something Stephanie Austin wrote in her recent article in The Mountain Astrologer:
“…the spiritual task of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) is to develop a high degree of concentration, perseverance, and devotion, in order to bring our efforts to full expression.”
The first time my voice was silenced, my mouth was washed out with soap by my mother, for repeating a word I had learned from her, while at my after school childcare worker’s home. Talk about injustice! It’s amazing how we often learn to lie, deceive, cheat and even steal from those who are charged to love, nurture and teach us. We have to ... in order to survive. I believe children are inherently good and moral, but family and society teach them otherwise.
Forced to leave a healing center, I could have been silenced by doubt of my ability to serve and heal others. Fortunately, I trusted myself enough to not let their opinion of me prevent me from continuing my work and I have many incredible friends who believe in me.
One of the huge ironies of this is that after they ‘threw me to the curb’ so to speak, they wanted me to continue writing my monthly astrology column for their newsletter – with no compensation and were surprised when I refused. What gall! Can you believe it? I am fighting the inner compulsion to ‘bad mouth’ them all over town, because I know the power of my words.
And this is the final message of this post. Your words do have power. The ones you speak to yourself are the MOST powerful. You can use your words to bless or to curse.
