Of course, the on-going Pluto and Uranus square remains in effect as a backdrop for everything else that may be occurring in our daily lives.
Read a useful tip from Martha Beck this morning I thought I would pass on. In an article on her website entitled “How to Stop Regretting Decisions”, she offers six steps to “transform the way you tell the story of your past”. I found #4 particularly useful:
4. Reclaim the Essence of Your Dreams
I won’t quote the entire passage. You can go there to read it. The gist of it is that she says you can reclaim the essential experiences you missed. If you made a decision (or one was made for you) that you regret, identify what elements of it that you miss(ed). For example, if there was a place you thought of moving to and didn’t, and now regret your decision, what was it about that place that attracted you in the first place? This will help you move forward in your current life.
As someone said a long time ago, “there’s no use crying over spilt milk.” Well, you can cry for a minute, but then continuing to cry is stupid, right? It might cause you to spill more milk.

This New Moon in Pisces signals the approaching end of the zodiacal year. A good time to review the past year, then let it go.
I think one of the things that holds us back is that we can get ‘addicted’ to the process of healing. We can get caught on Neptune’s trident. “Hooked” is the word for it. We can get hooked on anything, even ‘good’ things.
Let’s face it, we all have been wounded, either in this life, the last hundred or so, or all of the above. Life on planet Earth is challenging. We can get into a bad habit of focusing on our wounds. Caroline Myss became famous writing about this: Why People Don’t Heal, coining the term: ‘woundology’ to connote a pattern many people have of always speaking about their wounds. There comes a time when we have to get off the pity pot and move on.
Many of those who manage to move on go into the next phase called ‘the wounded healer’ where they have been working on themselves and now want to share all they have learned. They want to be ‘healers’. The trap here is to get so into studying all the thousands of modalities that have sprung up in the last 30 years, you never DO anything. It’s okay, just admit it. You love workshops, trainings and seminars. (I do)
You meet this person and rather than telling you they are a recovering _________ fill in the blank, they are a Reiki master, herbalist, massage therapist, astrologer, flower essence practitioner, plant spirit medicine practitioner, shaman of this and that tradition, ordained…..the list goes on and on. And yet, even this person often has no clue about what to do next.
Aha! Zen moment!
Now mind you, I am not criticizing anyone. I am merely stating a fact that I’m sure you, too, have observed. And, personally, I would rather hang out with the ‘wounded healers’ than the ‘wounded’ for what it’s worth.
But this is all part of the Piscean Age, which is ending. The Pisces/Virgo axis represented by Jesus Christ and Christianity is characterized by victim mentality. Once a person has stopped being a victim, they want to serve others. A noble cause but still part of that polarity.
We are moving into the Aquarian Age. As I wrote in my post on Mercury Retrograde, Mercury is taking a message from Pisces to Aquarius. What is that message?
Part of that message is: everything that ever happened to us in this or past lives has brought us to the place we are now. We could not be the healer we want to be if these things had not occurred. It was all a necessary part of our development and…..the bell rang. School is over.
While I do believe that Earth School continues until our last moment here, there comes a point when we move from Elementary School to High School and beyond. What will be the lessons of that next level? The point is awakening.
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus and Saturn. Saturn, the traditional ruler is about discipline and responsibility. As we begin to KNOW about energy, we need to become more and more responsible about how we use it. We KNOW better, now we have to DO better.
Caroline Myss says, “Whenever you become empowered, you will be tested."
I believe we have all been in a cocoon since 2012, completing our transformation. Soon it will be time to emerge. If you are feeling lost or have no idea what’s next, you are not alone. As Rumi says: “Sit, be still and listen because you’re drunk and we’re at the edge of the roof” We are all drunk and hooked on Neptune’s trident at the moment.
This New Moon in Pisces, while you are sitting drunk at the edge of the roof, this advice from Stephanie Austin in The Mountain Astrologer, February/March 2014 might help:
“Pisces asks us to ponder: Why did I come to Earth? What is my spiritual mission? Where do I need to trust my intuition and take a leap of faith?”
That should keep you busy for awhile. And remember any steps we make toward awakening, no matter how tiny, moves the Collective forward. Nothing is wasted. As the final sign of the zodiac Pisces represents Unity, including all that has come before. It is the end of the astrological year. The Spring Equinox and the sign Aries, begins the year. So, we are in a completion mode.
