Pluto and the seven generations

As I was writing about the seven Pluto generations that are currently on the planet, I realized how that relates to the Native American notion of seven generations. This weekend, often referred to as Columbus Day, is not a holiday (from holy day), but instead a type of Memorial Day to Native Americans.

The idea of seven generations relates to looking at your actions
according to how they would affect seven generations into the future.

The planet Pluto was discovered on February 18, 1930. Named after the God of the Underworld, it represents death and rebirth and is associated with the sign Scorpio.

Currently the North Node, Saturn and Mercury in Scorpio. Looming over us, although not spoken of in the news, is the disaster at the nuclear plant in Japan that occurred over two years ago. You rarely hear about it in the commercial news, but the disaster is far from over. In fact, there are some things happening now that will affect life on this planet forever.

The US government agency that inspects fish to determine if it is edible, is no longer doing that. Not because they are part of the ‘shut down, but because the levels of nuclear pollution are so high they don’t want anyone to know. It is recommended that you not eat any fish from the Pacific Ocean.

Hmm, does that mean that there is a barrier between the Pacific and the other oceans? How long will it be before all the seafood in every ocean is affected? Does that mean that other food sources are ‘safe’? How is it possible that if the seafood is polluted with nuclear waste, that the plants and animals on land are okay?

Pluto was discovered during the lifetime of the oldest of the seven generations currently alive. So was nuclear power. Plutonium was discovered in 1934. It lead to the development of nuclear weapons. The only atom bombs that were ever dropped, were dropped on Japan.

Isn’t it interesting that the country which has suffered the most from the effects of nuclear weapons, is now the one having a disaster of this type? Didn’t they learn anything? Didn’t anyone learn anything?

If they had used the ‘seven generations’ test, would they ever have developed this technology? It has come to pass that during Pluto in Capricorn, the Pluto in Cancer generation is also reaping the harvest they set in motion so long ago. Within their own lifetimes, they managed to pollute the entire planet.

Named for the god of death and rebirth, we know that plutonium leads to death. They gave it a fitting name. What will the rebirth look like?

In astrology, Pluto often breaks things down allowing room for the new, whether that be your ego, your relationships, your health. Pluto is associated with cancer.

If you survive, you often become stronger for having gone through
the process of transformation that Pluto triggers.
