My Other Obsession
When I am not doing readings for clients, studying, writing or performing household tasks, I am busy making jewelry.
My handmade jewelry is based on the revival of techniques created by women in France over 500 years ago using soutache braid (aka Russian braid). Originally used for decoration on draperies and furniture, women adapted it for use on all types of garments. The techniques have been handed down for generations of women who incorporated designs from tribal, oriental and other folk traditions.
My work is inspired by ancient cultures, dreams and past life memories.
